Presenting the exquisite 36mm Heuer Carrera Reference 3647; a masterpiece of elegance and craftsmanship from early Heuer. This watch is from the 60s and is sold as watch only (no box or papers) The watch is in very good pre-owned condition as shown the photos and the watch is running well and functioning as it should. Please buy with total peace of mind. The timepiece is on a black leather strap that is not a Heuer (strap nor buckle). The lugs are 18mm if you wish to change. The Heuer Carrera was launched in 1963, soon after the Autavia making it the second named watch in the Heuer line-up. The Carrera 3647 has a simple two register dial with inner Red Tachymeter and chapter ring on the dial of its elegant 36mm diameter case housing the impressive fan-favourite Valjoux 92 column wheel movement. This watch has T Swiss printed just above the 6 o’clock applied marker. Heuer watches from this era embody the modernism that began in the 1960’s with simple, well-proportioned designs that are aesthetically pleasing and functional. This was the time of Jack Heuer, who led the company into this new age by embracing contemporary design and advancements in technology.
