Lange & Söhne presentation box - Released in 2016 in a limited edition of 100 pieces in platinum, the A. Lange & Söhne Datograph Perpetual Tourbillon is one of the most impressive models released by the manufacture in the last decade. The model combines the trifecta of an instantaneous perpetual calendar, chronograph and tourbillon in a Datograph dial/case format, and both the dial and movement are a feast for the eyes. With immense heft, the watch is physically impressive, with a striking black dial and black date indication with contrasting white graphics (a detail that enthusiasts of the brand particularly love). - Behind the watch reveals the arguably most beautiful component of the watch: the movement. Beating inside the timepiece is the caliber L952.2, which was derived from the Datograph Perpetual movement, the caliber L952.1. While the tourbillon cannot be seen on the dial side, the open caseback reveals the tourbillon cage behind 12 o'clock. The movement itself is composed of 729 parts, and is beautifully finished, showcasing exactly what the Saxon manufacture is best known for. The bridges on the movement shine beautifully, with perfectly beveled edges. The base of the tourbillon bridge is hand-engraved in typical A. Lange & Söhne style, which is most often found on the balance cock. - Preserved in excellent and barely worn condition, the timepiece is furthermore accompanied by its A. Lange & Söhne Guarantee dated December 05, 2017, product literature, wallet, numbered presentation box and outer packaging.
