Model : OCRAC.B01A Case Material : Titanium Case Size : 47mm Movement : mechanical chronograph w/ automatic winding Dial : Openwork Bracelet : Black Rubber Retail Price : 72,400 This watch is also known as: OCRAC-B01A, OCRACB01A, OCRAC B01A The Angelus U30 Tourbillon Rattrapante, which astoundingly unites three complications in one amazing Angelus Chronograph: a tourbillon, fly-back double column chronograph, and split seconds, in an automatic winding chronograph with 45 hour power reserve. The first Angelus Chronograph wristwatch appeared in 1925, originally with a single pusher case, and then from 1935 the decision was taken to share the two-pusher case format being used at Breitling. The Angelus chronograph very quickly became popular worldwide. The interwar years also marked an increased level of interest for Angelus in the table and travel clock market, eventually producing a long list of models. As such, the 1930s saw the ‘Dateclock’, with full calendar in a separate display, and the unparalleled ‘Foursome’, with as the name suggests, a grand total of four displays, featuring an eight-day alarm clock, full perpetual calendar, barometer, thermometer, and sumptuous gold dials with many parts in stainless steel. Larger premises in Rue Piaget, Le Locle, Switzerland now beckoned, and just one year following the 50th anniversary of the founding of the company in 1941, Angelus launched one of its most famous Chronographs, which was to become known to vintage chronograph watch collectors worldwide.
