An 18ct gold open-face pocket watch having a gold dial with black Roman numerals, blued-steel spade hands and engraved decoration to the centre, the case with fully engraved decoration to the back, with the Swiss bar movement having a cylinder escapement, the case stamped within 18K, repeated to the inner cuvee and signed by the retailer Sir John Bennett, 65 & 64, Cheapside, Maker to the Royal Observatory, diameter 40mm, gross weight c.52.66gs plus rope link chain marked for 18ct gold c.22.78gs.
