His career also encompassed extensive academic work, having taught at several prestigious Arab universities, where he shaped the minds of future economists and policymakers. In addition to his academic contributions, Dr. Beseiso spent 14 years as the Chief Program Planning Officer at the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA), where he made significant contributions to the region’s economic development. In recognition of his tireless dedication and notable achievements, he was honored with a special gift: a watch bestowed at the personal request of Sultan Qaboos of Oman.
