Das Gehäuse ist im feinen Zustand. Wunderbar scharfe Kanten, ein perfektes mattes Finish und nur geringe Tragespuren an den polierten Seitenflächen präsentieren ein Gehäuse, welches einer Royal Oak absolut würdig ist. Die Lünette ist ebenso wie das Gehäuse im top Zustand mit geringen Tragespuren. Die Abstände der Schrauben zur Lünetten Kante sind optimal und zeugen von der Qualität der Uhr. Das Zifferblatt ist ein Highlight. Es handelt sich um die korrekte MK2 Variante mit langen Indexen und wer die Bilder gesehen hat weiß sofort, warum das Zifferblatt ein Highlight ist. Im Laufe der Jahrzehnte hat das Blatt einen dezenten, aber klar sichtbaren Tropical Effekt entwickelt. Dieser ist in jedem Licht voll präsent, aber nicht so extrem wie bei vielen anderen tropical Zifferblättern ausgebildet, sodass das grau/schwarze Tapisserie Zifferblatt noch immer einen klassichen Look hat. Mich persönlich hat das, auch wenn die die ganz kräftigen tropical Blätter auch liebe, sofort gefangen. Die Zeiger sind etwas heller als das Zifferblatt. Das ist typisch für die Zeit und mindert nicht die Schönheit der Uhr. Diese tolle tropical Royal Oak erfreut den neuen Besitzer als Komplettpaket mit Box und Papieren. Sie wurde im Mai 1993 von Orologeria PISA in Mailand (Italien) verkauft und kommt mit Box inkl. Umkarton, sowie den erwähnten Papieren. Das originale integrierte Royal Oak Band ist ebenso im feinen Zustand. Es zeigt etwas Stretch, ist aber noch straff und mit ausreichend Gliedern ausgestattet. The case is in fine condition. Wonderfully sharp edges, a perfect matte finish and only minor signs of wear on the polished side surfaces present a case that is absolutely worthy of a Royal Oak. The bezel, just as the case, is in top condition with minor signs of wear. The distances between the screws and the bezel edge are optimal and testify to the quality of the watch. The dial is an absolute highlight. It is the correct MK2 variant with long indices and anyone who has seen the pictures immediately knows why the dial is a highlight. Over the decades the dial has developed a subtle but clearly visible tropical effect which is fully present in any light, but is not as extreme as many other tropical dials, so the grey/black tapestry dial still has a classic look. Personally, I‘ve been immediately captivated by this, even though I also love the very strong tropical dials. The hands are slightly brighter than the dial. This is typical of the time and does not diminish the beauty of the watch. This great tropical Royal Oak delights the new owner as a full set with box and papers. It has been sold in May 1993 by Orologeria PISA in Milan (Italy) and comes with box including outer box and the mentioned papers. The original integrated Royal Oak bracelet is also in fine condition. It shows some stretch, but is still tight and has enough links. Conclusion: A charming early Royal Oak with a beautiful dial.
