A fine condition example lady’s octagonal case SS/18K YG Cartier Santos circa 1980s. Featuring a 25mm diameter case, with 18K YG bezel secured by screws, with a beautiful condition original burgundy dial with gold hands, gold printed Cartier signature.and with matching red spinel cabachon crown. Complete with excellent condition Santos flat link bracelet with gold screw details and double C logo deployant clasp. Unlike many battery powered Cartier ladies models, this model is powered by a self winding movement with sweep seconds. The octagonal version Santos is a less common version compared to the more familiar square shape, and by the shape and the scarce burgundy dial announces its retro era origins. An attractive alternative version of a retro inspired mid century Cartier classic.
