Launched in the 1970s and perfectly embodying the decade’s aesthetic freedoms, the Cartier Coussin fuses Parisian elegance with a hint of inspiration from the Far-East that results in a design that is unlike anything else the famed French Maison has ever produced. Featuring some design details that have become signature elements of Cartier’s aesthetic, the Coussin boasts a white dial with black Roman numerals, a black chemin de far railroad-style minute track, blued steel hands and of course Cartier cherry on top, a blue sapphire cabochon-capped winding crown.
