It was revived in the mid-1990s as part of Cartier’s exclusive "Collection Priveé Cartier Paris" (CPCP) line, which featured limited releases. Since then, the Asymétrique has been issued in small production runs on a few occasions. The CPCP line initially ran from 1996 to 2008 but was reintroduced. It is fitting that this new Privé Collection includes a contemporary reinterpretation of the Asymétrique. Introduced in 2020, the new Asymétrique Skeletons were produced in three limited sets of 100 pieces each, crafted in platinum, platinum with diamonds, and rose gold. The present reference is one of the 100 pink gold versions.
