Extremely rare timpiece launched to celebrate 15th anniversary.
On May 18th, the megawatt cast attended a private lunch hosted by de GRISOGONO on its Terrace Les Oliviers, Hotel Martinez. During the event, Fawaz Gruosi granted the Hollywood action heroes with a 15th anniversary numbered limited edition of its iconic Instrumento N. UNO collection.
In the morning, the promotional stunt arrived atop tanks for the press conference promoting the forthcoming blockbuster The Expendables 3. The star-studded castmembers stopped traffic on the Croisette and drew crowds. A promotional stunt filled with abundance of testosterone talent.
Fawaz Gruosi surrounded himself with a pile of icons known as the best cast assembled for any film ever.

de GRISOGONO has been stunning its followers for 20 years with daring creations. This time it amazes us yet again, with a timepiece, which has become a contemporary classic for the brand, and is recognized for its modern and original design. This special edition of the Instrumento N° Uno, developed by de GRISOGONO, features an elegant case, and is made from steel with a black PVD finish. It is fitted with a self-winding mechanical movement, a dual time-zone display for lovers of travel, and a large date display. The black guilloched dial contrasts dramatically with the bright red hands and Arabic numerals. The hand-stitched black alligator skin strap is lined with red leather and inscribed with the watchmaker’s brand name on the inside. This anniversary edition, autographed “Fawaz'” on the sapphire crystal case back, is limited to 100 watches.
The 16 stars in the Expendables 3 cast notch up a total of 850 years’ age. Stallone, Banderas, Statham, Gibson, Ford and the others must have enjoyed making this film with its touches of comedy and irony amidst the tons of flying lead, and they also got the chance to wear a special edition of the Instrumento N° Uno by de Grisogono, at least during the film’s presentation. The watch has a steel case with black PVD finish, with red hands and numerals, a large date display, and a second time zone shown on the lower subdial. The black alligator strap has a red leather lining. The anniversary edition has brand owner Fawaz Gruosi’s autograph on the sapphire caseback. It is a limited edition, with 100 watches available (does that mean that there are 84 left for ordinary non-expendable people?) with box and an extremely rare advertisement of the Watch in paper.(last Photo)
