Possibly used as an early Doctors watch to measure beats per minute. The watch is in new old stock condition and has its original Doxa hand tag with matching serial to case number, and factory seal which can be removed if wanting to wear. The 35mm case is a goos size as these typically came smaller from this era. The watch is serviced in 2023 and running well. , Doxa was founded by Georges Ducommun as Georges Ducommun, Fabriques Doxa in 1889 in Le Locle, Switzerland. The company rose to prominence with the 1908 introduction of an 8-day watch movement that proved its value on the wrists of German soldiers in World War I.
