Personal Note Ebel is rightfully in the collector's spotlight right now and being appreciated in the markets, but there are still models that are being overlooked and, in my opinion, are underappreciated! This Beluga QP 18ct Gold Perpetual Calendar in 36mm is exactly one of those. For the price, you will be hard-pressed to find a more unique, solid gold, perpetual calendar from a brand with true history and heritage! I wouldn't hesitate on this rare gem if you are interested and don't hesitate to book an appointment to try it on yourself. The Brand Eugene Blum and Alice Levy, husband and wife, joined their initials together (Eugène Blum Et Lévy) to form the brand name Ebel in 1911. Based in La Chaux de Fonds the company was taken over by their son, Charles in 1932, where he began to concentrate the business branching out overseas before Blum’s grandson Pierre Alain took over. It was at this point, in 1932 that Ebel began creating wristwatches for Cartier. Later Ebel became part of the LVMH Group and then Movado Group by the end of 2003.
