With that constrasting cherry slide rule and seconds hand it just pops, with amazing presence on the wrist ! Paired on its original 19mm tropic rubber strap with Enicar buckle. The Enicar brand produced some of the most beautiful and interesting designs during the 60s and this example hits the mark in condition and design aesthetic. The watch has been fully serviced and is running well. , The Sherpa Diver 600 was a follow on from the Seapearl 600, a watch that helped cement Enicar's (still under appreciated) reputation for dive watches. In 1959, the Enicar Sherpa Diver 600 and Enicar Seapearl 600 were included in an evaluation of dive watches by the United States Navy Experimental Diving Unit. The other watches were the Bulova US Navy Submersible Wrist Watch, Blancpain Fifty Fathoms, and the Rolex Oyster Perpetual. Interestingly the go to choice of the divers (when a rotating bezel was not required) was the Seapearl 600.
