Girard-Perregaux 18K Automatic Wristwatch C. 1955

Men's 18K rose gold 1950's vintage Girard-Perregaux round automatic wristwatch with unusual salmon color dial that is signed Girrard-Perregaux Automatic and marked Swiss Made around the 6:00 marker. The unusual and attractive dial has breguet style numerals and a center sweep seconds hand. The watch has a 17 jewel caliber 47 BF 661 adjusted automatic movement. The 37mm watch has tear drop lugs and measures 41mm from lug tip to lug tip. The watch is triple signed Girard-Perregaux on the case dial and movement. The watch case is Swiss hallmarked with the case back also serial numbers and the case maker's mark of STILA S.A., A., a high grade case maker in La Chaux-De-Fonds, Switzerland. The watch comes with an associated leather strap and gold plated tan buckle. The watch is running but has not been tested for accuracy, exhibits signs of finish loss and some of the markers are partially worn, please see all photos. Contact AAG for additional information.
