Cover and case-back engraved in taille-douce (fine cut) with stylized foliage and geometric patterns, and, in the centre of the cover an escutcheon; case-band decorated en suite. Dial: white colour, enamel, with black painted radiating Roman numerals; external minute track divided five by five, with black painted radiating lines; yellow gold ‘Poire’ pear-shaped hands. Movement: unnumbered, calibre 19’’’, manual-winding, probably 18 jewels, nickel-plated, going barrel, equilibrated straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensated balance with gold poising screws, blued steel hairspring with terminal curve, polished steel index-regulator; Alfred Courvoisier-Jonais patented triple date mechanism hinged on a separate plate and operated by a gear (gold wheels) set driven by the movement’s centre wheel; the calendar jumps are activated by a pin riveted to one of the gears, which pushes a lever through an opening in the calendar dial plate. Type of winding and time setting: winding by the crown on the pendant and time-setting by a push-pin (à poussette) located on the case-band at 4 o’clock.
