A GENTLEMAN'S SIZE STAINLESS STEEL GLYCINE AIRMAN SPECIAL AUTOMATIC PILOTS WRIST WATCH CIRCA 1960s, WITH "NEEDLE" HACKING SECONDS FUNCTION Movement: 17J, automatic, AS cal. 1700/01, signed Glycine Watch Co Airman. Case: Diameter approx. 36mm, Compressor case back, signed Glycine Watch Co, patent number 314050, 24 hour rotating bezel for second time zone which can be locked by secondary crown. Strap: Leather. CONDITION REPORT Dial: Original dial in very good condition, showing some small signs of age, needle still present & functioning through the dial to stop the seconds hand. Movement: Running & functioning at present, timekeeping and accuracy cannot be guaranteed. Case: In good condition, with some small scratches and light wear due to general use, some corrosion in-between the lugs. Strap/Bracelet: In excellent condition.
