Godfrie Poy, London - mid-18th century gilt metal verge plunge repeating pocket watch, signed fusee movement, no. 364, with pierced engraved balance cock with mask, diamond endstone, gilt three arm balance, silvered regulating disc, cylindrical pillars and hammers striking a gong, dust cover, enamel dial with Roman numerals, minute track and rose gilt hands, bullseye glass, within a pierced and engraved case, 42mm (requires attention) - ** From the Dr. Plowman Collection , Movement - currently functioning and repeat chiming, however the fusee cone is retracting a turn when wound and the repeat is not chiming correctly - requires some attention. Dial - chip repair at the nine/ten position and surface scratches. Glass - surface marks. Hands - hour hand bent. Case - surface marks and some rubbing, lacking the outer case, stem and bow with some rubbing.
