GODFRIE POY (1718 - 1753) in London, Embossed brass watch with two patinas, called "onion", double case, verge escapement, chain fusee. The middle of the double case decorated on the reverse with "Saint George slaying the dragon", the champlevé dial with Roman numerals. Gilt brass plate with silver regulator disc adorned with a large openwork rooster decorated with foliage scrolls, and head of a faun. Marked movement of Godfrie Poy London. London early 18th century.
