A great looking man’s base metal “Guildite” Gruen industrial design pocket watch circa 1939 with fabulous original “Bull’s Eye” dial. Featuring a 45mm diameter industrial design case, with original matte silver dial with stunning design dial with printed silver numbers set against a black chapter ring background. With additional black surround sub seconds bit and ith silver leaf shaped hands. Powered by 15 jewel manual wind caliber 795 movement with subsidiary seconds. Featuring a fine condition stepped case design free of any personalized engraving. With hinged bow and original domed crown for setting and winding. Recently serviced and offered with our 1 year warranty of accurate time keeping and operation. Gruen was an American manufacturer of fine and stylish design pocket and wristwatches from the mid 1800’s until the late 1950’s. They were based in Cincinatti, Ohio and assembled and marketed their watches in the U.S. but mported their movements from Switzerland. Gruen is the name sake of our landmark neon blade clock that has hung over our doorway for the last 30 years!
