Gruen Cushion Case Gents Watch c1927

The Gruen Watch Co was created by a consolidation of various Gruen Companies in 1922 and ran in that form till 1958, based in Cincinnati Ohio USA, it was at one time the largest watch manufacturer in the USA. This Gruen watch dates from circa 1927, designed in a understated Art Deco style, the cushion case, is in Nickel Silver Plate, the movement is 15 Swiss 15 Jewel with 2 Adjustments. Everything is original, the button, the blue steel cathedral hands and the brushed silver dial which does show a little patina. Whilst the front of the case is plain, the side are engraved. Overall cosmetically this watch is in a very good condition.
