Gübelin Platinum and Rock Crystal Skeleton Pocket Watch

This is a very special timepiece sold at Gübelin. The case is made from platinum and rock crystal and showcases a beautiful skeletonized movement. We believe the watch and movement was possibly produced by Vacheron & Constantin. The outer rock crystal perimeter features platinum applied hour markers. The platinum bow is very fine and the crown features a beautiful diamond. We believe the production dates to the 1950s based on serial number 71110. The movement has a Geneva seal and is one of the most spectacular skeletonized movements we have seen, clearly exhibiting craftsmanship and workmanship of the highest skill. The flared, sword-like blued hands are also spectacular. The The watch does not come with box and papers. It has just been serviced and is running well!
