Dating from around 1970, this watch is preserved in exceptionally good and completely original condition. The dial shows three sub-dials for seconds, minutes and hours. The original tritium on the dial and hands have acquainted an attractive orange colour. The tachymeter bezel remains in very good condition The stainless steel compressor case shows to be unpolished and remains in good condition and the bevel edges are strong and sharp. The text on the back and the serial (1303XX) and model numbers between the lugs are clearly visible. The watch is powered by the legendary Cal. Valjoux 72. This manual-wind column wheel movement has gained iconic status due to its precise mechanics, durability, and use in some of the most famous watches in history. The movement is clean and running smoothly. The watch is fitted on a black suede leather strap.
