Heuer is renowned for its rich history with automotive racing, and one of the great models from the golden age of the brand is the Camaro. The Camaro line has always been a sleeper when compared to the more discussed siblings such as the Autavia and Carrera. This particular reference 9220N is a very special example with provenance being won at the 1967 American Road Race of Champions! The dial is in fantastic condition. The watch is paired on a Gay Freres Bracelet with HLA end links - which was added later - and is significantly hard to find. The watch is powered by the Valjoux 92. The case appears to be unpolished. The watch comes does not come with box and papers. It does come with a catalog and ticket from the 1967 American Road Race of Champions which were added subsequently for those who appreciate the associated ephemera.
