A striking limited edition created in collaboration between horological publication Hodinkee and Hublot, the Hublot Classic Fusion ref. 565.NX.8070.RX.HDK23 blends modern innovation with minimalist appeal and some quirky design aspects that could only debut on a watch that was never intended to be on the market. Indeed, the ref. 565.NX.8070.RX.HDK23’s inspiration is the “loaner” watch that Hublot would give their customers when they gave a watch in to be serviced. Featuring “Not for sale” on the dial, these watches were made of a dark plastic and powered by quartz movements. In light of that, the Classic Fusion ref. 565.NX.8070.RX.HDK23 that we have here features a dark titanium construction that is aesthetically similar to its plastic predecessor, and a grey dial that reads “Not for (Re)sale”. Powered by Hublot’s automatic cal. HUB1110 movement, which is visible through a sapphire case back, the watch features plenty of subtle detailing. Limited to just 100 pieces, this model combines Hublot's iconic design language with a distinctly understated style, making it a versatile choice for both Hublot aficionados and those who are drawn to unique, contemporary watches that don’t compromise on sophistication. THE CONSTRUCTION Made of titanium, this collection's 38mm construction includes a dark color that looks quite similar to the original's dark grey plastic case; only it is much more durable.
