Illinois ‘Telephone’ Wristwatch 1919

Sterling silver Illinois ‘Telephone’ wristwatch, circa 1919, took advantage of the newly introduced manual dial telephone designs of the period to name this design. It’s rare and bold, 34mm in diameter with extended wire lugs in early military wtch style, The white porcelain dial features round black hour indexes with dropped-out white Arabic numerals, subsidiary seconds register and spade blued steel hands.
