Designed by Ferdinand A. Porsche himself. One of the greatest achievements of the collaboration between Porsche Design and IWC was the Ocean 2000, which made its official debut at the Basel Fair in 1983 as the reference 3500. This first model had the text "International Watch Co." and "Schaffhausen" written in italics on the dial and it was the first diving watch that could dive to 2000m deep at the time. Nice and light to wear due to the high-quality titanium case and strap. With a diameter of 42 mm, it was very fashionable for its time and one of the forerunners of today's oversized diving watches. At the same time, the watch is eminently functional with great attention to detail. The bezel also has a locking mechanism where the bezel has to be pushed down to be rotated. The IWC signed automatic movement calibre 375 runs like new and within COSC standards. Very accurate and with good amplitude thanks to regular maintenance. The whole is in original used condition and has never been worked on. Includes the original complete set of papers from 1984. Also included is an original (modern) IWC travel case. The titanium bracelet fits up to a wrist of 20.5 cm, so at full length. The bracelet has no wear and/or stretch.
