IW389105 Authorized Dealer Description Soft white with a mysterious shimmer: the color of “Lake Tahoe” ceramics is inspired by the U.S. Navy’s “Service Dress White” uniform, but also by the snow-capped peaks surrounding the Sierra Nevada’s largest lake. Elite pilots from TOP GUN flight school often fly over this mountainous landscape. The white ceramic represents all of IWC’s expertise in the field. The brand first used this color in the 1980s. The exclusive white ceramic case of the Pilot’s Watch Chronograph TOP GUN Edition “Lake Tahoe” is paired with black hands and dial, as well as white luminescent printed details. The titanium caseback features the TOP GUN logo, while the pushers and crown are made of stainless steel. Inside the 44mm-diameter ceramic case is the IWC-manufactured 69380 caliber. With a classic column-wheel design, the chronograph also features a day and date display at 3 o’clock. The soft iron inner case protects the movement from the effects of magnetic fields.
