Rare and Attractive, “Lucchetto”, Lady’s Bracelet Wristwatch in Yellow Gold, With Lovely Degradè Champagne Dial

Model: Lucchetto Reference: 9041 Case Material: Yellow Gold Bracelet Material: Yellow Gold Year: 1960's Movement: Manual Caliber: K818/C Case N°: A1252542 Movement N°: 1391824 Dimensions: 28 × 22 mm, Total Lenght 195 mm Signed: Dial, Movement and Case In 1833 Antoine LeCoultre (1803–1881) opened a small laboratory at Le Sentier, where he put his watchmaking skills to create high-quality timepieces. From that moment on, many other innovations came, and in 1884 he added another milestone on the horology highway with the creation of the first instrument to measure the micron. Since its establishment, Jaeger-LeCoultre has continued to impress with a rich history of bold, even audacious timepieces, underpinned by traditional watchmaking excellence. Among its most intriguing creations is the reference 9041, a timepiece with a distinctive and innovative design, often referred to by collectors as “Lucchetto” due to its unique padlock-like shape. These “Lucchetto” watches were produced for a brief period during the 1950s and 1960s. The yellow-gold case of this model is well-preserved, adding to its charm and vintage appeal. However, the true standout feature is the striking champagne degradé dial, a color that fades from black at the edges to a warm champagne tone at the center. At 12 o’clock, the dial features the applied Jaeger-LeCoultre logo, while at 6 o’clock, the signature marks its authenticity. Powered by a manual winding movement, this Jaeger-LeCoultre lady’s wristwatch is a beautiful example of 1960s design, combining bold aesthetics with classic watchmaking craftsmanship, making it a rare and timeless treasure for any collector.
