1950’s Longines Wittnauer Jumbo Gents Chronograph

1950's Longines Wittnauer Jumbo Gents Chronograph Rather unusual looking watch, in so far as most Longines Wittnauer Chronographs we have seen used Valjoux movements whereas this model features a Venus 170 movement similiar to Breitling models of the same period with a 12/6 sub dial configuration. It's also larger than most other Longines Wittnauer Chronos coming in at a whopping 37mm diameter ! The case is gold plated with a steel back and is in very good condition, likewise the dial which shows very little sign of age. The watch is running well as are the Chrono functions.
