Because it is one of the most beautiful vintage Longines and in solid gold always the rarest and most interesting. Rare 18K-yellowgold execution of the elongated case (20*36mm) with form-movement Longines cal25.17 (small second) in very good condition, with some oxidation on the dial but besides this very few signs of use and age: the case even shows the hallmark on the 9o'clock-flank and the Key[2] inside case-back indicates the beautiful case was made by Baumgartner for Longines. The domed crystal is original as is every other part of this almost 90y old timepiece. Matching serial numbers of both case-parts & movement: 5'47X'XXX. We can offer this wonderful watch with a new and matching custom-made black linen-strap.
