Longines Skin Diver

A RARE GENTS STEEL LONGINES AUTOMATIC DIVERS WATCH the circular black dial signed Longines Automatic with Arabic and baton indices, outer black bakelite bezel, original crown with cross hatch engraving, multi-edge screw-on case back with skin diver logo at the centre, internally signed Longines Watch Co. Swiss 6921-2 230 , automatic movement signed Longines 19 Jewels 10987319 19AS , fitted with an aftermarket steel expanding bracelet. Case diameter 40mm (incl. bezel) One of the earliest divers watches produced by Longines and only 550 examples are thought to have been made in the late 1950's. Watch is currently functioning but timekeeping not tested, bezel, dial and hands all show signs of wear and deterioration due to age.
