Germany however, has a long noteworthy history of watch manufacturing dating back centuries. Founded in 1990 by Roland Schwertner, Nomos has become one of the highest quality entry level watches available on the market. Known for its eye popping dial colors and thin case size, the brand has been able to captivate collectors with its simple design and slim movement. In 2014, Nomos started to release both mechanical and automatic movements made in house, solidifying them as a top watch manufacturer. In order to use Glashütte in their name, they are required to design, develop, and build more than 50% of the movement’s value in that very same town. Over the years, Nomos has continued to raise the bar of watchmaking and currently produces more than 95% of the movements’ value in Glashütte. We are pleased to bring to market this stunning example of a Nomo Tangente.
