A piece of history enclosed into a watch case.
For sale this amazing Omega Officer. This watch is from 1943 (according to the serial number of the movement), ref. number is 2299 and powered by the caliber 26.5 T3 PC T1, is a testament to Omega’s enduring craftsmanship and precision.
A few words about history of Omega Officer.
Sweden was neutral during the WW2. The Swedish army made an agreement with Omega to provide a watch made for the Swedish army in large numbers, it’s called Omega Officer from 1940. It was ref 2165 with at cal.26.5 T2 and from 1942 ref. 2299 with a cal.26.5 T3.
This watch I am offering now is in very nice aesthetic condition and also in great working condition (for its great working parameters look at the pictures please). It was serviced in December of 2024. (It was cleaned and serviced only (but not was polished). The stainless-steel case is in very nice condition with only a few signs of age and use. The plexi crystal is in beautiful clear condition. The watch has a beautiful, original, untouched, very unique, tropical patina, ‘railroad track’ dial, original hand set and crown. It is amazing, it is like tangible history.
So, whether you’re a history enthusiast, a watch collector, or simply appreciate timeless style, this watch is a rare find that encapsulates the spirit of an era.
The watch comes in a nice and elegant general watch box (none Omega, look at the pictures please) and on a beautiful, brand-new, handmade, premium quality, faded- brown leather watch band strap (none Omega, it was made specifically for this watch) with a stainless-steel buckle (none Omega, look at the pictures please).
Over all it is a very impressive watch. It is perfect for a collection or also for everyday use. Look carefully at the pictures, which are also an undoubted part of its description. In case of doubt or questions, do not hesitate to contact me. Thank you.
