1971 Omega Seamaster Mens Vintage Watch with Automatic Cal. 565 Movement and Black Dial - Stainless Steel
Today's offering showcases this classic and meticulously restored c. 1971 Omega Seamaster. Its case has a wonderfully distinctive case with large double curved lugs that flow like wings juxtaposed against a perfectly flat brushed bezel.
Powering the watch is Omega's top-tier caliber 565 movement used in Seamasters from the era, and one of the last superior 500's series movements used before Omega began trying to reduce their costs, and the highest offering in the 500 series. It has 24 jewels and a quick-setting date and is one of the finest mass-produced automatic movements from era.
It measures approximately 35mm in diameter without the crown, in between the size of a Rolex Date and a Rolex Datejust.
It has all of its original parts and has just finished a true expertly done restoration. It presents in gorgeous condition - a 9.6 out of 10. Our photos couldn't do it justice.
Its case presents as mint with only light signs of having ever been polished. Its original Omega dial has been meticulously restored - its printing could pass as Omega factory done to the naked eye.
As part of the restoration, the movement has been freshly fully serviced by a Master Watchmaker. It is running very strongly and keeping accurate time.
For the finishing touch, we have equipped it with a brand new leather strap with aftermarket Omega style buckle making it ready for immediate enjoyment.
Included with the purchase is a one-year warranty on the movement and its function, a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate attesting to the watch's performance.
