A fine example of this Vintage Omega Seamaster from 1952. Retained much of its original beauty and appears to have had very little intervention or changes over the years. A true Vintage Omega Seamaster in every sense of the word. The vintage Omega Seamster 2635-2 operating from the legendary automatic movement calibre 354. This one running at +15 seconds per day with a healthy amplitude which is quite a statement considering this watch date to 1952 as per the serial number. 34mm stainless case that is gold plated gives the look and feel of a solid gold case watch (steel backplate), Wonderful silver dial with gold gilt dauphine hour markers. Gold coloured hands and crown to match. Crown believed to be original as is the dial. Slender and elegant this is one of the watches that made Omega stand out from many of the other Swiss watch manufacturers of the time. Iconic and much revered. Condition wise appears to be excellent all round with no signs of any major marks or scratches although we have left original and unpolished. The dial appears untouched and shows very little sign of any age or wear to it unlike many others of the era. Fitted to a black generic leather strap and steel gold plated buckle.
