This Speedmaster is in overall attractive, vintage condition. The case is in good condition, with scratches and normal signs of wear. The hippocampus logo and text are still visible on the caseback. The double beveled edge on the caseback is still visible. The inside caseback is stamped "S 105 012-65." The "Dot over 90" bezel is in overall good, attractive condition with some wear and scratches. The crown is a later Omega service replacement. The step dial is in overall good condition with patina throughout and the dial appears to be turning brown. In some lights, the dial looks black, and in others, it looks more brown. The seconds sub-dial has a small dot of white paint on the "60." The lume on the dial has developed patina and aged to an attractive yellow-beige color. Some of the lume plots show some degradation. The hands are later service replacements; they have some wear and developed patina. The paint on the hands show some wear and it appears that they have been repainted / touched up in the past (white parts). The lume in the hands has darkened, which is not uncommon. The watch has a flat link no. 1506 bracelet with no. 16 end links. The clasp is date stamped 4/66, indicating it is from 1966. The bracelet is in overall good condition with some wear between the links and has a bit of space between two of the links behind the clasp. The crystal is signed in the center with the Omega symbol.
