This model came with two variants; one with the Oris calibre 643 made from an ETA 2836-2 base movement, while the other had the calibre 743 made from a clone Selitta SW220-1. The 643 model, this model, is the rare model featuring a base ETA movement instead of the Selitta one (copy of the ETA). This was the case as ETA had recently started restricting sales of their movements to many brands after they were bought by the Swatch Group. This watch is in almost near new condition. There are micro (barely visible) scratches on the sides of the case, the tops of the lugs, and the outer metal part of the bezel which are visible in bright conditions. On the side of the case between the He crown and the mechanical crown is a faint abrasion/scuff-like mark. The rubber strap is in excellent condition with no notable wear. It has been cut (required) to fit a 16-16.5cm diameter wrist. The clasp has been refinished, not the original finish, where the polished part features some scratches. This is the only refinished part of the watch; everywhere else is in original condition. The watch has never been serviced but has been seldom used and is keeping incredible time as imaged; +3 to +4 seconds a day. Box and papers are included. The original watch box has severely perished on the inside over time. When delivered, the watch will be in a small Oris transport box instead of the perished original one (which will still be delivered). 47mm is a large case diameter, however, the unique design means the watch does not wear as large as other watches with the same/similar diameter. You would note the unique kettle-like curvature on the sides of the case. I am the original onwer and purchased new in 2012.
