Inspired by classical Greek culture, the details of the Toric collection are drawn from the Golden Ratio, Doric Greek columns and the Fibonacci Sequence, with the brand’s ‘pomme de pin’ or ‘pinecone’ motif derived from Parmigiani’s love of the natural laws of beauty. The watch itself features a 42.8 mm steel case, with the Toric’s collection signature hand-knurled bezel and a matte black dial. The slim hour and minute hands are openworked to accentuate their javelin shape, whilst the various levels of the steel case create a gentle slope along polished layers. The in-house cal.PF317 movement is exquisitely finished, bevelled and grained, and features an asymmetrical retrograde date and a second time zone with fully independent hours and minutes.
