This release brought about a delightful surprise, as the reference 5070 became one of the larger wristwatches ever created by Patek Philippe. To commemorate its 10th anniversary in 2008, the reference 5070 received a luxurious platinum case, further adding to its allure. It was the brand's last chronograph to use the Lemania 2310 movement, before transitioning to an in house calibre with its successor reference 5170. Due to its exceptional attributes, only approximately 250 platinum models were produced, solidifying its status as one of the finest chronographs available today, exuding a captivating appeal.
