PATEK PHILIPPE - A Fine 'Age of the Moon' Automatic Wristwatch, ref. 5015, circa 1990s, white enamel dial with black Arabic numerals, blued steel spade hands, power reserve, moon-phase and subsidiary seconds dial, 18ct yellow gold officer's style case with large hobnail bezel, and caseback opening to reveal crystal-covered movement with 22k gold Micro-Rotor, 29 jewels with calibre 240PS, movement no. 3050451, case no. 2987202, case width 35mm, working order, boxed, Patek Philippe introduced the reference 5015 in 1994 and was in production until 1999. This is the only Patek from the time to feature an "age of the moon" which indicates the exact time of the full moon. Movement - working. Dial - very clean. Glass - very clean. Hands - good. Case - very light surface abrasions on caseback. Crown - hands adjust smoothly. Bracelet - associated Patek Philippe leather strap and 18ct tang buckle, general wear. Notes - with inner box (inside leatherette perished), outer box (with label for Christies Sale 22/11/2000, lot 243) and 18ct gold mounted ebony pusher, no papers.
