Fitted with a gorgeous understated silver dial, the ref. 3580 harkens back to Patek's desire to refrain from distracting the wearer from the incredible craftsmanship within their timepiece. Powered by the automatic cal. 350 movement, the ref. 3580 is indeed a Back-Wind watch, whereby its crown has been removed from the case's side and placed on the caseback. This move was inspired by the technology in battery-operated watches, as they never needed their crown for resetting since their batteries wouldn't run out – much like an automatic timepiece if it is continuously worn.
