Dial: The beautiful white enamel dial with Roman numerals outer minute track and subsidiary seconds dial at six o'clock. The fine original blued steel double spade hands with matching blued steel seconds hand. Case: The 18ct yellow gold half hunter case with engraved Roman numerals and inner minute track inlaid with Royal blue enamel. The back cover is plain. The inner cover has the retailer name H. Pleister 312 Regent Street London. It is also numbered and engraved Patek Philippe & Co Geneve. The repeater slide is located at the side of the case. Movement: The excellent gilt metal movement is signed Patek Philippe & Co Geneve being numbered, fully jewelled throughout with compensation balance, blued steel hair spring fast slow regulator and wolf's tooth winding. The polished steel hammers being visable and chiming the hours and quarters clearly. This rare and early quarter striking repeater was retailed by H. Pleister who was the main agent for Patek Philippe in London. His clients included Royalty and aristocrats. He was renowned for selling high value watches.
