And it is so characteristic and obviously the blue-print for the classic Piaget Polo by dimensions & design. There are many names for the one: Cesar (--> Kaiser, Tsar), Emperador (--> Emperor) or King of Kings. But all mean the same: Top of the foodchain; it does not get any better; the Non-Plus-Ultra. And indeed, it is probably the most lavish men-model Piaget with big diamonds, onyx stone-dial plus pavee-setting with four rubies & the thousand-facets of the fire-finish / palace-decor by Ponti Gennari Piaget. The watch in the classic men-size 34mm with seamlessly tapering integrated bracelet was designed by Jean-Claude Gueit and not only the design but the overall technique and link-system is the obvious predecessor of the classic Piaget Polo. The Polo is simply the same watch but every second link elongated / doubled in size and a little less sophisticated in its finishing. Made in 1984 according to our research and notes: 40th Anniversary. Automatic microrotor-movement 12P, unpolished case and a fine rose-patinae on the gold. Exceptional.
