This 1998 Piaget Protocole features a silver dial with arabic numerals and a 18ct white gold bracelet. It also features a 18ct white gold diamond square bezel. The Protocole line descend from a watch introduced in 1963 with a 9P movement. It was square with cut corners (unequal octagon) with engine-turned vetical stripes on bezel and dial. The key design motifs are the square with cut-off corners, vertical stripes and the ultra-thin case. Later, Piaget expanded the line to include Protocole Ronde (round).
