The RM 35-02 is made from a unique material called Black TPT, which is a composite of multiple layers of carbon fibers that have been infused with resin. Result of extreme engineering and collaboration between NTPT and Richard Mille, the innovative case material was first used in the RM27-02 Rafael Nadal back in 2015. The RMAL1 caliber is made up of RM’s patented variable-geometry rotor, which helps to ensure that the watch maintains a consistent power reserve. The baseplate and the bridges are made in Grade 5 titanium which helps to maintain the lightweight of this timepiece.
