Rolex Datejust 36 16000

This is a fourth generation Datejust that was introduced around 1977 and was only in production for a little over 10 years, making it a rare model. It has a very glossy dial with a thick enamel-like finish called Stella Boiler Gauge. It is believed to have been made for the Middle Eastern market. Based on the serial number, we can assume that this piece was made around 1987, making it a so-called late model.
