GMT-Master ‘Pepsi Fuchsia’, Reference 1675 | A stainless steel dual time wristwatch with date and bracelet, Circa 1972 Rolex

Rolex GMT-Master ‘Pepsi Fuchsia’, Reference 1675 A stainless steel dual time wristwatch with date and bracelet, Circa 1972 Dial: black Calibre: cal. 1570 automatic, 26 jewels Case: stainless steel, screw down case back Case number: 3’110’944 Closure: stainless steel Rolex Oyster bracelet and folding clasp Size: 40 mm diameter, bracelet circumference approximately 175 mm Signed: case, dial and movement Accessories: none Built for PanAm pilots during the mid-19th century, Rolex’s new GMT-Master family demonstrated that there was demand for a dual-time tool watch for world travelers. Introduced in 1959, reference 1675 built on the success of the outgoing reference 6542 while remedying some of its issues, and has since become a legend in its own right. Technical improvements were made on the basic blueprint of a rotating 24 hour bezel and hand, such as an aluminium bezel for durability and crown guards for robustness. The present watch has several characteristics which make it stand out from the archetypal 1675. Perhaps the most noticeable of which is the Fuchsia bezel, which is a natural product of aging where the original “Pepsi” red sector of the bezel fades into a beautiful magenta. The dial here is also pristine, with little to no signs of tarnishing or discoloration. Fuchsia coloured 1675s are some of the most sought after matte dial variants, and this gorgeous example is sure to attract discerning collectors. 勞力士 GMT-Master ‘Pepsi Fuchsia’ 型號1675 精鋼兩地時間鏈帶腕錶,備日期顯示,約1972年製
