Dating back to 1968, the watch remains in exceptionally good and completely original condition. The immaculate untouched gold sunburst dial is signed Rolex Precision, with applied Rolex logo and gold hour markers. The strong gold case is also in good condition showing very little wear. The case has several 9 carat UK gold hallmarks (dating this watch back to 1968) and is signed by DS&S (D Shackman and Sons), who made high-quality gold cases for Rolex watches sold in the UK at the time. The case measures 15 mm without crown and 17 mm including the crown. Original crown with Rolex logo. The high quality Rolex cal. 1401 signed movement is clean and running smoothly. The beautiful textured solid gold strap also remains in amazing condition. The clasp bears the Rolex logo and contains several gold hallmarks, also DS&S signed. The total length is approximately 17,5cm, the clasp can be closed in three different positions ensuring a perfect fit for a wide range of wrist sizes.
