It is a beautiful dark blue for both the face and strap and I really like the open heart and clear back. You will too if you enjoy looking at the mechanisms. I am not a collector and have been gifted a Grand Seiko I like even more at about the same time so this will continue to not be used. Would rather someone else enjoy it.
