Credor OctaGenta Nautilus X Royal Oak Seiko Nautiloak or Seikilus, Octagonal Genta: Royal Oak X Nautilus

ID : EG450165SCGS Reference : 9461 Brand : Seiko Model : Nautiloak or Seikilus, Octagonal Genta: Royal Oak X Nautilus Year : 1981 Condition : Very good Delivery : Watch and Box Type : Quartz Caliber : 9461 Functions : Time (Hour, Minute, Central Second) Diameter : 37mm Wrist size : 195mm Case : Steel & Gold Bezel : Steel & Gold Bracelet : Steel & Gold Dial Color : Gold Glass : Sapphire Glass WHY WE LOVE IT: Made in the same quality as its ancestors, the AP Royal Oak & Patek Nautilus but in much fewer pieces and Genta-designed -- an upcoming sought-after rarity. Finest '80s-Quartz & 100th Anniversary Model for Seiko. Made in Nov 1981 as part of a rare Credor-line exclusively commemorated for the 100th Seiko-Jubilee and probably designed by Gerald Genta: The sophisticated dial, the octagonal shape (Royal Oak) and the Nautilus-theme and system on the bezel are obvious; Gentas connections to Mr Hattori are well known and it is not the only cross-over watch designed by Genta in 1980: the Patek Nautillipse follows exactly the same idea -- Nautilus X Ellipse. This Credor is of very high quality and not worse than any of the two competitors (AP Royal Oak & PP Nautiuls) in this aspect. Rare bicolor model and clearly speaking loud: '80s, Japan, Yuppie, Boom. Perfect gold-wave dial: Sophisticated. Screwed crown: Nautic. Niche today but exactly the watch that you search in two years. And besides all that, it is a great indicator for your sun-consumption -- make sure your wrist is not brighter than the wonderful aged gold-dial. The bracelet (195mm) shows no stretch and no significant signs of wear. Amazing.
